Our working method
WordHouse aims to complete your assignments quickly and efficiently. We have over 3,000 translators, interpreters and writers worldwide. In our office in Amsterdam, our project and account managers work closely together to coordinate and plan your assignments.
Our working method is aimed at offering you the quality and speed you expect. This is why we use a strict, ISO certified quality system. Our translation procedures fulfil the requirements of the European standard for translation companies, the ISO 17100. You can view our certificates here. The usual steps for completing a translation assignment are given below. However, each assignment is unique and we adapt the process if this better suits the project or if you have specific requirements.
Translation assignment steps
Step 1 >> Request
You send us a request with the text to be translated. We analyse the text, consult you on your wishes and send a suitable quote.
Step 2 >> Implementation
You approve the quote and the translation work is started immediately. A translator who is familiar with your field is selected to translate your text.
Step 3 >> Quality control
An independent revisor performs a quality control on the translated text.
Step 4 >> Delivery
The translation is delivered at or before the agreed time.
Step 5 >> After care
A project or account manager evaluates the process and the end result with you. Any issues are addressed immediately.
A different procedure applies to other services, such as our interpreting and writing services. If you would like more information, please contact one of our account managers. They will be happy to explain our procedures.
